Thies Hershberger Sample passed away Sunday, May 21, in Alto, California. She had been ill for the past two years. Mrs. Sample is the niece of Lee Hershberger who preceded her in death. --typed by Walt W

VEEDERSBURG —Relatives in the Veedersburg area have been advised of the death in California of Mrs. Thais Sample. She had been seriously ill for several months. A daughter of Czar and Rose Hershbarger, former residents of Veedersburg, her early life was spent here. She was 50 years of age, and had lived in California for many years.
