Hillsboro - Mrs. Lenna Saltsgaver, 93, a resident of Hillsboro many years, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at Masonic Home at Franklin where she resided for three years. Mrs. Saltsgaver was born Dec 21, 1867, near Hillsboro, daughter of John and Nancy Rivers Newlin. She married Frank Short, who with an infant son, preceded her in death. Her second husband was Francis Conway, who also preceded her in death. She was then married to Ed Saltsgaver, now deceased. She was a member of the Christian Church and the Fern OES. Funeral services will be held at the Hillsboro Christian Church at 2 p.m. on Friday Nov 24. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Million of Crawfordsville First Christian Church officiated at the funeral service held at the Christian Church in Hillsboro Friday afternoon for Mrs. Lenna Saltsgaver. Mrs. Maxine Bever gave organ numbers that had been requested: Tis s sweet to trust in Jese; Good night and Good morning; and God’s Way is the Best Way. The pall bearers were: Paul Long, Marion Glascock, Floren Reynolds, Elton Rusk, Robert Bever and Ernest Myers. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Saltsgaver died at the Masonic Home in Franklin Tuesday night after having resided there for three years. Most of her life had been spent in the vicinity of Hillsboro. - kbz

Tuesday, Nov. 21, at the Masonic Home in Franklin where she had resided for the past three years. Born Dec. 21, 1867, near Hillsboro, she was a daughter of John and Nancy Rivers Newlin. She was married to Frank Short, Francis Conway and Ed Saltsgaver, all of whom preceded her in death. Mrs. Saltsgaver was also preceded in death by an infant son. She was a member of the Christian Church and Fern Chapter Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Saltsgaver was the last member of a family of nine. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. The Rev. Million officiated at the services. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery with the Crumley Funeral Home of Hillsboro in charge. --typed by Walt W
