SALTS, Mary Eleanor Cates - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mary Eleanor Salts of RR 1, West Lebanon, age 58, died Thursday, June 10, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Illinois. She was born at Covington, June 22, 1923, the daughter of Schuyler L. and Mary Robb Cates. In 1942, she married Bill Salts, who survives. Mrs. Salts was a member of First Church of Christ at Covington. A 1941 graduate of Covington High School, she was formerly employed by Warrick Restaurant in Covington.

  Also surviving are two sons, Thomas Lee and Terry William, both at home; three sisters, Louise King of Crawfordsville, Delores Howard of Covington and Martha Davan of Denver, Colorado; and two brothers, Harold Cates of Berwyn, Illinois, and Leroy Cates of Carlsbad, California.

  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Fisher Funeral Home in West Lebanon with Rev. Edgar F. Allen officiating. Burial was in West Lebanon Cemetery. – thanks so much to “S”
