HILLSBORO - Funeral services for Delbert Sadler, age 46, Indianapolis, brother of Floyd Sadler of Hillsboro, who died Tuesday, Jan. 25, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, were held in Indianapolis Friday morning, Jan. 28.
Mr. Sadler, who was employed by the John Deere Co., had been in failing health for eight years. He was born Oct. 30, 1919, in Danville, Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Sadler. He was graduated from the Waynetown High School. He was married to the former Hazel Horine and they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last October. He was a member of the Somerset Christian Church near Greencastle.
Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: two sons, Jerry in the U.S. Navy and Terry, at home; six brothers, Albert and George of Greencastle, Howard and Leslie, of Marshall, Floyd of Hillsboro and Ardra of Rockville; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Davis of Morton and Mrs. Martha Wilson of Indianapolis, and his mother, who lives in Greencastle.
