Kingman - Roma Sackmire, 88, Rt 1, Kingman died at her home at 4:30 a.m. April 19, 1993. She had been in failing helath several months. She was born in Bloomingdale June 27, 1904 the daughter of Wilson H and Artilla Mae Beeson Allen. She married June 1, 1929 to Harold Sackmire. He preceded in death Oct 7, 1984. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bloomingdale Friends Church. She graduated from Bloomingdale Academy and Bradley University. Surviving are four daughters, Betty (Kenneth) Majors and Carolyn Millikan, both of Kingman; Alberta (James) Ellis, Rt 1, Kingman; Phyllis (Duane) Woodrow, Rt 2, Veedersburg; two sisters, Marie Mendenhall, Crawfordsville, Isabelle Reed, Rt 1, Rockville; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home, Kingman with Kenneth Majors officiating. Burial at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.
