SACKMIRE, Mabel Marshall - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Mabel Clare SACKMIRE, 70, of Kingman died Saturday April 20 at the Gruensfelder Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. Born in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Elmer Marshall and Eleanor Etta Furr. Her mother lives in Yeddo, survives. Other survivors: 5 sisters: Mrs. Ava Philpott, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Willie Tinder, Bloomingdale; Mrs. Alsy Heslar, Philadelphia, Pa; Mrs. Vera Robson and Mrs. Claude Clark, Lafayette; one brother, George Marshall of Joliet, Ill. She was a member of the united Brethren Church. Services were held Tuesday afternoon at Centennial Church at Steam Corner with Rev. Howard Pearson officiating. Burial in Sackmire Cemetery with Brown Funeral home in charge.
