SACKMIRE, Lex - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Lex SACKMIRE 62 of W. Lebanon died Sunday while visiting at the home of a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ruby Warburton of Danville, Ill. He was born July 26, 1898 near Kingman, a son of Albert and Mary Mitchell Sackmire. He was twice married; his first marriage was to Nellie White who died Oct 15, 1958. His second marriage was to Miss Anita Jones. Mr. Z was employed by Diamond Chain Co. at Indianapolis for many years. He was a member of Centennial EUB Church near Yeddo. Survivors include his wife and mother, a step daughter, Mrs. Anna Finney; a stepson, John Stull; two brothers, Harold and Lloyd; four sisters; Mrs. Ruth Hoover; Mrs. May Sackmire; Mrs. Doris Wallace; and Mrs. Mildred Grannin. Fun services were conducted at 2 p.m. at the Woodrow Fun Home at Kingman. Burial was in Centennial Cemetery, east of Yeddo.
