Mrs. Dorothy L. Russell, 59, of 904 N. Collett, died at 2:15 p.m. yesterday (Nov. 20, 1967) in Lake View Memorial where she had been a patient 12 days. She had resided at the Collett address 20 years. Born April 20, 1908, in Illinois, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Burton. Surviving are her husband, Roy Russell; a son, James Russell of Mattoon; a daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Barbara) Mack, Danville; two stepsons, Roy Russell of Covington, Ind., and William Russell, Danville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Alice Mullins, Danville; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Also, three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Stockton of Romney, Ind., Mrs. Marjorie Cintell of DeNora, Pa., and Mrs. Edna Krowell of St. Louis, Mo., and a brother, Frank Burton of Ridgefarm. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and a step-son. Mrs. Russell attended the Methodist Church and was a member of the Royal Neighbors. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Barrick & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Don C. Goodwin will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today. -– jlr
