Veedersburg - Ralph Rusk, 51-year-old former resident of this community suffered a fatal heart attack Saturday night at his home in Middletown, Ohio. He was born April 12, 1910 in Veedersburg, a son of Elsworth and Anna Underwood Rusk. He spent all his early life in this community. He was married in 1926 to Nedra Smith of Covington. Mr. Rusk was a foreman in the welding department of the American Roller Mill Co at Middletown. Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Betty Rhodes, Mrs. Joan Robertson and Mrs. Sue Moffet all of Middletown; a son, Glenn T. Rusk at home and two brothers, Glenn and Tom Rusk, both of Veedersburg. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at Middletown. Interment also will be in Middletown. - kbz

Services were held Wednesday at the McCoy & Leffler Funeral Home in Middletown, Ohio for Ralph (Pete) Rusk, 58, a native of the Veedersburg community who died Saturday night (Aug 5, 1961) at his home in Middletown following a heart attack. Burial was there. Born April 12, 1903 in Veedersburg he was the son of Elsworth and Anna Underwood Rusk. His early life was spent in the community. In 1926, he was married to Nedra Smith of Covington and they moved to Middletown, Ohio in 1929. Mr. Rusk had been employed as a foreman in welding at the American Roller Mill Co for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Rhodes, Mrs. Joan Roberson and Mrs. Sue Moffett; a son, Glen Thomas, all of Middletown and two brothers, Glenn and Tom both of Veedersburg. – kbz
