VEEDERSBURG — Mrs. Clara Mae Rusk, 52, a lifelong resident of Veedersburg, died at 3 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Danville, Ill., where she had been admitted 10 hours earlier. She had been in failing health two years and seriously ill since July. Born Jan. 3, 1902, Mrs. Rusk was the daughter of Edward and Ella Mettee Booe. She was twice married, first to Clark Crowder. Her second marriage was to Tom Rusk on Oct. 21, 1928. Mrs. Rush was a member of the Veedersburg EUB Church. Surviving are the husband; parents; two sons, Leslie Crowder, Seattle, Wash., and James Rusk, Waco, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Rose Myers, Springfield, Ill., Mrs. Marie Oilar, Lafayette, and Mrs. Inez Clawson, Frankfort; a sister, Mrs. Melba Edwards, Benton Harbor, Mich., and three brothers, Leslie Booe, Attica; Joe Booe, Benton Harbor, Mich., and Robert Booe, in service with the Army in California. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg, with burial at Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. --typed by Walt W
