RUSK, Carl - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Carl Rusk, 54, veteran of WWI, died at 3 p.m. Friday at Culver Hospital Crawfordsville. He was ill a year and a half of a heart ailment and was hospitalized 3 days. Mr. Rusk was born Oct 12, 1894, at Veedersburg, son of William E. and Anna Underwood Rusk. He was married May 21, 1918 to Catherine Garrett, who survives. He was a member of the Veedersburg EUB Church and Disabled American Veterans of Indianapolis. Besides the widow he leaves 8 children: Robert (Bill), Veedersburg police chief; Cash Jr in the Navy in the Mediterranean area; Richard, Roy, David, Pat and Mary Jo, Veedersburg; Thomas with the Army on Labrador; his mother, Mrs. Anna Rusk, Veedersburg, Rev. Shrigley and Rev. Todd, officiating. Burial was made in Rockfield Cemetery with the Fishero Funeral Home in charge   --– transcribed by kbz.
