RUSK, Blanche - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Miss Blanche C. Rusk of Hillsboro, age 83, died Sunday morning, June 14, at her home. She was born near Hillsboro, November 11, 1897, the daughter of Squire E. and Elizabeth Gardner Rusk. Miss Rusk was a member of Snyder Chapel EUB Church and attended the Hillsboro Christian Church. She taught Sunday school classes for 37 years. A 1916 graduate of Hillsboro High School, she was also a graduate of Indiana Central University in Indianapolis and taught school a year at Mount Comfort and a year at Hillsboro High. She was also a member of Cain Township Home Economics Club, Heritage Senior Citizens and Prairie Chapel Ladies Aid.

  Survivors include a sister, Miss Mary E. Rusk of Hillsboro; two brothers, Ralph of Waynetown and Elton of Hillsboro; four nieces and four nephews.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Thomas Inabinett officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. – thanks to S
