Howard N. “Rudy”
						Rudolph, 85, of Williamsport, died at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette,
						at 3 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2000. He had been a patient five days. Born in
						Becks Grove on August 30, 1914, he was the son of Jesse Otis and Nellie Olive
						(Thompson) Rudolph. He had lived in Warren County most of his life and rural
						Williamsport since 1945. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1933. He
						was married June 29, 1946 in Danville, Ill. to Alice M. Bush. She preceded him
						in death on October 17, 1989. Mr. Rudolph was a farmer most of his life. He was
						also a supervisor for the Indiana State Highway Department for 15 years, before
						retiring in 1984. He served in the U. S. Navy in World War II and was aboard
						the USS Enterprise. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Covington. He
						was also a member of American Legion Post #259 in Williamsport, VFW Post #3318
						in Attica, Attica Moose Lodge, F & AM Lodge #315 of Pine Village and was
						active in Attica-Williamsport Senior Center. Surviving, are: one daughter,
						Nancy C. (Dwayne) Rater of Crawfordsville; three grandchildren, Kelly (Jeff) Johnson
						of Indianapolis, Deron (Janet) Rater of Williamsport and David (Deanna) Rater
						of rural Attica; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation at Fisher Funeral
						Home, Williamsport, from 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
						Rev. Larry Felgenhauer officiating. Interment in Highland Cemetery,
						Williamsport, with military graveside rites. Memorial donations may be made to
