Hillsboro - Mrs. Martha Frances Ross, 84, a native of Kentucky died at her home here at 8:30 o'clock Saturday morning. She had suffered a stroke of paralysis an hour and a half earlier. She was born July 30, 1866 in Cumberland County, Ky. Her parents were Francis and Jane Lough Kerr. Mrs. Ross was the youngest in a family of seven children. They moved to Indiana in 1872. Many years ago, she was married to Victor Ross who preceded her in death in 1934. Mrs. Ross lived on a farm near Hillsboro until the death of her husband after which she moved to this place. She was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church. The survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Iva Stafford of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Mollie Furr of Veedersburg and a granddaughter, Miss Rosemary Stafford of Indianapolis. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
