ROOZE, Paul - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Paul Rooze, 74, died Wednesday morning at 3:30 o’clock at his home near Montmorenci. A native of Hoafplatt, Holland, he was born May 21, 1862 and came to America in 1893 settling near Lafayette. On Oct 26, 1895, he married Hortence Pearl, who survives with eight children.  Pearl and Kathryn at home; Mrs. Charles Matthys, Fargo, ND; Mrs. Ida Crowe, Lafayette; Kenneth and Harry, at home; Fred, Lafayette and Rena, Montmorenci, also a brother, Leo Rooze and a sister, Mrs. Leo Verhey, both of Attica.  Mr. Rooze was a member of the Catholic Church. Friends may call at the family home. Services will be held Friday morning at 9 o’clock from St. Charles Church, Otterbein, Rev. Joseph Keating officiating. Vianco Funeral directors in charge.
