ROMINE, Lenore Nole Johnson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

MELLOTT --- Mrs. Lenora (Nole) Johnson Romine, 94, a former resident of Mellott, died early Monday morning at her home at Colorado Springs, Colo. The cause of her death was old age and complications. Mrs. Romine was born Oct. 7, 1867, at Eddyville, Iowa. In 1916 she was married to Sam Romine of Covington. She moved to Mellott in 1923 and lived here until 1949 when she went to Colorado. Survivors include her step-children, Mrs. Carl Palin of near Wingate, Mrs. Ben Fairchild of Waynetown, Mrs. McKinley Fairchild and Roy Rornine, both of Covington. James Archer and Mrs. T. L. Wiggins of Mellott are cousins. Funeral services and burial will be in Colorado Springs on Thursday.   --typed by Walt W
