Glenn Romack, 59, Huntington, Tenn., a former resident of Covington, died Thursday evening, Sept. 4, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Huntington. He was born March 18, 1927, in Newton, Ill., the son of Alfred and Mary Daughtery Romack. He was married to Kathleen V. Sare Dec. 21, 1947. She died June 17, 1973. He was married to Mrytle Dean Sare Long July 2, 1974. She survives. He was a former resident of Newton, Ill., Covington, Brookston, Monticello and West Lafayette and had resided in Huntington since 1976. He was a 1944 graduate of Covington High School and a World War II Army veteran. He had been a farmer all his life and operated a service station in Lafayette for a few years. He attended the New Life Assembly of God Church in Huntington. Surviving, besides his wife, are two sons, Michael, Fowler, and Allen, Valparaiso; two daughters, Mrs. Terry (Glenda) Faith, Georgetown, and Mrs. Greg (Jacqueline) Richardson, Aurora, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Paul (Helen) Clark, Lafayette; two step-daughters, Mrs. Carroll (Denise) Hembree, and Mrs. Steven (Keta) Carver, both of Greenville, S.C., and 13 grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, Covington. Burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery.
