Roy A. Rogers, 57, husband of a former Crawfordsville woman and a 1932 graduate of Wabash College, died Oct. 16 in Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia. He was senior vice president and manager of Parker & Co. International, Inc., Philadelphia insurance brokers. Mr. Rogers was born in Covington, the son of Roy A. Rogers Sr. and Alma Boord Rogers. He married the former Elizabeth Stubbins of Crawfordsville. The Wabash College alumnus was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity here. He was a graduate student at Stanford University and the University of Missouri. Mr. Rogers was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in West Vincent where he served three terms as Rector’s Warden of the Vestry. He was a member of the Racquet Club and the Adirondack League Club. Survivors include the widow and a son, Roy Adamson Rogers III. – jlr

Roy A. Rogers, senior vice president and manager of Parker & Co. International, Inc., insurance broker of 1616 Walnut St., died Monday, Oct. 16, in Lankenau Hospital. He was 57.
Mr. Rogers lived at "The Locusts", Glenmoore, Chester county. He graduated from Wabash College, Crawfordsville, Ind., and was a graduate student at Stanford University and the University of Missouri.
Before coming to Philadelphia in 1944, he was associated with the Harris Bank and Trust Co. and the Continental Casualty Co., both of Chicago. When he joined Parker & Co. here he was named head of the company's Aviation Accident Division and in 1962 was promoted to senior vice president and manager of the Philadelphia office.
He was a member d St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in West Vincent, Chester county, for which he served three terms as Rector's Warden of the Vestry. He was a member of the Racquet Club and the Adirondack League Club.
He was the son of Roy A. Rogers, Sr. and Alma Boord Rogers, both deceased, of Covington, Ind. He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Stubbins of Crawfordsville, Ind., and a son, Roy Adamson Rogers, 3rd.
