Newtown, Ind.—Ralph Rogers, 48, of Urbana, Ill., died at 10:30 p.m. Monday April 16, 1973 shortly after being admitted to Carle Foundation Hospital at Urbana.
He was born in Urbana and was married Dec. 24, 1944 to Barbara Spurgeon of Newtown, who survives.
He was a veteran of World War II and was employed at the University of Illinois.
Other survivors include a daughter, Beverly at home; a son, John at home; his mother, Mrs. Mary Rogers of Urbana; and a sister, Mrs. Lillian Kortcant of Urbana.
