ROGERS, Mabel - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington – Mabel M .Rogers, 97, died at 10:04 a.m. Friday Sept 30, 2005 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital.  Born May 30, 1908 in Fountain County, she was a 1926 graduate of Hillsboro HS. She lived in Hillsboro and Newtown before moving to the Covington area in 1928. She married Roy D. Rogers Dec 22, 1928 at Crawfordsville. He died Nov 16, 1987. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker, member of Sterling Christian Church, Roy Home Economics Club and Thimble Club. Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Gurley (husband, Forrest) and Eleanor Burkholder (husband: Bill), both of Covington and Donna Broderick (husband: Richard) of Catlin, Ill.  Services are Monday.
