Covington —(CNS)-- Mrs. Alma B. Rogers, 65, head of the visual education system in St. Louis schools, and former Covington resident, died at 7:30 p. m. Sunday (Jan. 22, 1950) at the home of her son in Pennsylvania. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with the Rev. Mr. Jones, Presbyterian pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Rogers was born Sept. 11, 1884 in Covington, daughter of Mont and Flora Bodine Boord. Her father founded the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. She was married in October, 1909, to Roy A. Rogers, Covington. Mrs. Rogers taught in Covington High School and entered visual education work at Indianapolis, from where she went to St. Louis 15 years ago. She also had taught in China and Hawaii. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a charter member of the Covington DAR chapter and the Tri Kappa Sorority. Surviving are a son, Roy Jr., Glenmore, Pa., and one grandson. --typed by Walt W
