ROEMER, Grace - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Grace Anna Roemer, 92, 700 S. Brady St, Attica died on Sunday Feb 21, 1999 at 8:50 p.m. in the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.  Born in Kokomo on June 8, 1906, she was the daughter of CP and Grace (Quick) Shewey.  She graduated from Attica HS and the Anthony Wayne Business School in Ft. Wayne.  While living in Ft. Wayne, she was employed by the Dyster Concentrator Co.  Mrs. Roemer was a member of the Attica-Williamsport First United Presbyterian Church and Delta Theta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa Sorority.  Her marriage was to Louis C. Roemer in 1930.  He preceded her in death on June 3, 1978.  Surviving are a son, John L. Roemer of Attica; two grandsons, Tim Roemer of Attica and Rick Roemer of Glenville, Ill and five great granddaughters.  Visitation was Wednesday at Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Service there on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. John DeSanto officiating. Entombment in the family mausoleum in Riverside Cemetery.
