Wallace- Mrs. Tressa Mae Rodgers, 62, a native of the Wallace community, died Monday morning in her home, west of Wallace. Death followed a lingering illness. Born Nov. 21, 1897, near Wallace, Mrs. Rodgers was the daughter of Charles and Cynthia Smith Clore. She married John Rodgers March 10, 1917. Surviving are the husband; two sons, Charles Earl Rodgers of Marshall and Kenneth Wayne Rodgers of Zionsville; a daughter, Mrs. Norma Murphy of Kingman; a sister, Mrs. Oveta Fisher of Kingman, and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two infant children, two sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Lutheran Church near Wallace, with burial at the cemetery adjacent to the church. Rev. John R. Servies of Crawfordsville will be the officiating minister. The body will lie in state at the church one hour preceding the rites. Friends may call at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
