RODGERS, Mary Alice Griffith - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mary Alice Rodgers, 99, of Franklin died Tuesday at the Indiana Masonic Home to which memorial donations may be made. A homemaker, she was born July 18, 1889 to Wilbur and Margaret (Westfall) Griffith in Newtown. Her husband, Chestley Rodgers, died in 1964. Surviving are a son, John R. Rodgers of Greenwood, a granddaughter and a great grandchildren. Mrs. Rodgers was a member of Greenwood Christian Church, Brightwood Order of the Eastern Star 399 and the Indianapolis Chapter of Railroad Trainmen.  There will be no visitation. The Rev. Shan Rutherford will lead a graveside service Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery. Wilson- St. Pierre Greenwood Chapel is handling arrangements.
