Harry Rodgers, 78, of Crawfordsville Route 7, died Tuesday evening Sept. 21, 1976, at his home. Death was attributed to natural causes. Born Nov. 18, 1897, in Wallace, he was the son of William and Marion Durham Rodgers. He was married Feb. 14, 1919, to Nancy Faye Long, who survives. Mr. Rodgers was a member of the Newtown Baptist Church and had attended Fountain County Schools. Other survivors include two sons, Robert and Harold, both of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Craig of Veedersburg and Mrs. Norma Weise of Bridgeton; a brother, Russell of Oakwood, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Bernice Allward of Kingman; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Services at 2 p. m. Friday at the Powers Funeral Home in New Market. The Rev. Creed Hampton will officiate. Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. -- typed by Walt W
