RODGERS, Austin - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Wallace – Austin Rodgers, 72, died of a heart attack as his son-in-law John Dukes was taking him to a doctor’s office in his car Wednesday noon..  He had been in failing health several years. Born in Fountain County, he was married to Creety Frazier in 1905.  He was a retired farmer.  Surviving with the widow are two sons, Paul of New Market and Ernest of Veedersburg/ four daughters, Mrs. Mabel Dukes, Hillsboro; Miss Alice Rodgers, Omaha, Neb; and Mrs. Blanche Fuller and Mrs. Cora Beulah Newkirk, both of Crawfordsville and two brothers, Glenn and John both of near Wallace.
