Newport—Nicholas Alan A. Roderick, 2 days old, died at 1 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 1989 at Mercy Hospital, Urbana, Ill.
He was born Jan. 12, 1989 in Danville, Ill., the son of Michael Alan and April Monseni Carter Roderick of Newport.
Surviving besides the parents are a brother, Lance, at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Roderick, Newport; maternal grandmother, Sonjkarn Carter, Danville; maternal grandfather, Timothy Carter, Jr., Perrysville; paternal great grandmothers, Esther Kinderman and Thelma Roderick, both of Newport, and maternal great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Carter Sr., Perrysville.
Graveside services were at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Thomas Cemetery, near Newport, with the Rev. Gary Hendricks officiating.
DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home, Cayuga, was in charge of arrangements. – thanks to S
