Marshfield -- Miss Edith Roderick, age 67, of Williamsport Rt. 2, a life resident of Warren County, died at 5:45 a.m. Monday, April 29, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill., where she had been a patient two days. Miss Roderick was born March 18, 1896 in Vermilion County, Ill., the daughter of Alvin and Dora Johnson Roderick. She had never married and she was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Nellie VanLeer and Mrs. Delta Taylor, both of Williamsport Rt. 2; two brothers, Clarence of Danville Rt. 3 and Albert of Williamsport Rt. 2; and a number of nieces and nephews. The body is at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington, where friends may call. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Lloyd Clapp will officiate and burial will be in the West Lebanon Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
