Nathaniel “Bud” Robinson, 87, of 305 College in Veedersburg died at 12:05 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 1978 at his home. He had been in ill health seven years and seriously ill three weeks.
Robinson was a retired farmer and formerly had operated a service station and tire store in Veedersburg.
Born at Otterbein, Ind., Jun 30, 1891, he was a son of Frank and Isabell Ellis Robinson. He was married Sept. 27, 1951 in Angola, Ind., to Gertrude Zimmerman Ekins. She survives.
Robinson formerly lived in Niles, Mich., and Hillsboro. He had been a resident of Veedersburg 10 years. He attended school at Portland Arch and St. Mary’s at Notre Dame.
He was a member of the Christian Church at Portland Arch.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dick (Marjorie) Aldrich of Niles; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Williams of Indianapolis, Mrs. Louise Ferguson of Frankfort, and Mrs. Lottie Kahl of California; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Maus Funeral Home in Attica with the Rev. Don Green officiating. Burial was in Osborn Prairie Cemetery near Stone Bluff.
Those who served as pallbearers were Russell North, Bart North, Tom Tolen, Dick Aldrich, Steve Aldrich and Iville Smith. - S
