WEST LEBANON — Louella M. (Logsdon) Roberts, 85, a longtime resident of West Lebanon, died at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001 in Woodland Manor Nursing Center, Attica. She had been in failing health the past six months. She was born July 23, 1916 near Limestone, Marshall County, W.Va., the daughter of Lindsay and Ruth Rebecca Criswell Logsdon. She married Glenn Joseph Roberts, a salesman, Oct. 23, 1937 in Smithfield, Ohio. He preceded in death June 2, 1978. She had lived in Smithfield, Ohio and Parke County before moving to West Lebanon in 1946. She graduated from Smithfield High School. She was a cook at the Williamsport-Attica Senior Center. She was previously employed as a cashier at Cronkhite Grocery in West Lebanon and at Radio Materials Corp. in Attica. She was a good homemaker. She was a member of the West Lebanon Nazarene Church and played piano at the church, she was also a member of the Williamsport-Attica Senior Center. She loved to read and enjoyed raising strawberries which she shared with the community. Survivors include: two sons, James H. (Julia) Roberts, Coatesville and John B. Roberts, Crawfordsville; two daughters, Carol (Earl) Givens, West Lebanon and Harriet (Max) Groff, West Lebanon; three sisters, Evelyn Robinson, Steubenville, Ohio, Lillian Payton, Jewett, Ohio …….. – jlr
