Mrs. Jane Robbins, 82, of Cates, died at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville Tuesday morning where he was admitted 10 days ago with a broken hip. Mrs. Robbins was born in Fountain County, October 30 1872, daughter of Pete and Margaret Teagarden Riley. She was married to Bales Barker and he preceded her in death in 1930. She later married Charlie Robbins, who also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Cates EUB Church and was the last of a family of 10 children. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Youngblood of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Mabel Clark of Kingman; three sons, Vaughn and Gerald Barker, both of Cates and Clay Barker of Covington; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Cates EUB church with the Rev. Gerald Muncie officiating. Burial was in Cashatt Cemetery and the Woodrow Funeral Home of Kingman was in charge of arrangements
