Earl E. Robbins, 61,
of Veedersburg, died at 8:45 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2001 at the waters of Covington. Born in
Covington on January 23, 1940, he was the son of Gilbert and Audrey Louise
(Mears) Robbins. Surviving, are: a son, Earl E. Robbins, Jr., of Veedersburg; a
daughter, Mildred Louise Robbins of Georgetown, Ill.; three brothers, Lloyd of
Veedersburg; Jack of Florida and Joe of Iowa; three sisters, Marjorie “Sally”
Logsdon and Nora May Fletcher, both of Veedersburg and Mary Lou Speigle of
Leesburg, Fla.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by a daughter Trula Hancock in 1996, and a sister. Visitation
from 2-3 p.m., prior to service at 3 p.m. on Friday at Dickerson Funeral Home,
Veedersburg, with Rev. Edwin Retter officiating. Interment in Coopers Chapel Cemetery.
