John W. Robb, 81, of 206 Lindenwood, died about 8:30 p.m. yesterday ( Sept. 7, 1968) in the Veterans Administration Hospital here where he had been a patient two weeks. Mr. Robb was born Feb. 12, 1887, in Covington, Ind., a son of George and Ella Alexander Robb. On July 12, 1917, he married Emma Leverenz in Urbana. She survives. Mr. Robb was a member of Grace Methodist Church and a former member of Knights of Pythias and Teamsters and Chauffeurs Local 26. He retired 16 years ago as a route man for Mueller-Johnson Baking Co. here. Mr. Robb was an Army veteran of World War I. Survivors, besides the widow, include a son, John, Atlanta, Ga., a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Mary Lou) Lewis, Phoenix, Ariz., and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a brother and three sisters. The body is at Barrick & Son Funeral home where arrangements are incomplete. --typed by Walt W
