ATTICA — . Funeral services for James Rubin Roarks, age 72, of Attica, who died at 1 p. m. Thursday, Sept. 2, in the Williamsport Community Hospital, were held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the DeSutter Funeral Home here. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
Mr. Roarks, who had been employed at the Harrison Steel Castings Co. and the Poston Brick Co., before retiring in 1958, was born Oct. 10, 1892, in Campbellsville, Ky. He was a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by: his. widow, Augusta; five sons, Ralph L. of Crawfordsville, James R., Jr., at home, Fred L. of Lafayette, Raymond Sible of Attica and Bill Howe of Chicago,; five daughters, Mrs. Pearl Jean Butler of Lafayette, Mrs. Hannah
Marie Howard of Williamsport, Mrs. Rita Lorraine Crowder of Wallace, Mrs. Lucy Nadine Pettery of Lafayette and Mrs. Lucile Watkins of Attica; one brother, John of Middletown, Ohio and 34 grandchildren.
