Mrs. AC Tharp of Kingman was called to Lawrenceburg, Kentucky last week because of the tragic death of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Ora Roach of that place. Mrs. Roach was burned to death while cleaning a gasoline stove in the yard of her home. She had emptied the gasoline from the stove and afterwards threw it on a pile of hot ashes. An explosion followed in which she was fatally burned. Mrs. Roach’s daughter met death in an almost identical manner 14 months ago when she threw gasoline on some smoldering embers on an ash pile at their home. - kbz
