Dollie Roach, 66, Dies In Hospital- Mrs. Dollie Kelsey Roach, 66, of 200 North St., died at 9:03 a.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital, she had been ill one month. Born July 2, 1892 in Frankfort, Ky., she was the daughter of Isaac and Ruth Snow Kelsey. She married Archie Roach in 1941 at Louisville, Ky. Mr. Roach died in 1951. Mrs. Roach was a member of the First Christian Church. She had lived in Crawfordsville for the past 25 years. Prior to that, she lived in Attica. She had cared for persons in poor health in her home for the past seven years and had worked in the restaurant business. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Rose Martimore of Hillsboro; three step-sons, Charles, Earl and Robert Roach, all of Crawfordsville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Louis Newell of Crawfordsville; three half-sisters, Mrs. Opal Barker of Maryville, Tenn., Mrs. Lenora Billingsley of Mannheim, Germany and Mrs. Albert Billingsley of Crawfordsville; three half-brothers, Burl of St. Petersburg, Fla., Jake of Corbin, Ky., and Theodore Kelsey of Crawfordsville. Theodore is a member of the Crawfordsville Police Dept. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Roach was preceded in death by a sister and a brother. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Russell E. Brown Mortuary with Rev. Paul E. Million, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon Friday. - typed by kbz
