RITENOUR, Fred - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington—Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hegg Funeral Home for Fred Ritenour, 79, of Covington. He died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 1974 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Houston, Tex., where he had been a patient two weeks.

  The Rev. Dale Cadman officiated. Burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery. Friends were received after 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Masonic services at 8 p.m. Military rites were at the cemetery.

  Born March 6, 1894, in Warren County, he was the son of Jacob Harmon and Louisa Jane Smith Ritenour.

  He was a member of Benson Chapel Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Williamsport Masonic Lodge. - s
