Covington – Mrs. Vera C. Rinehart, 67, of Elkhart a former resident of Covington died last month (Nov 21) in the Elkhart General Hospital. Mrs. Rinehart was born in Covington Oct 27, 1900. She was married July 19, 1921 to Richard G. Rinehart who preceded her in death in 1950. She had been a resident of Elkhart since 1924. She is survived by one son, Glenn E. Rinehart of South Bend; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Lamar Reed of Nappanee; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. George W. Keller and Mrs. Estal Edwards of Covington are her nephew and niece. Mrs. Uma Dill of New Jersey, formerly of Covington also is a niece. Funeral services were held Friday Nov 24 at the White Funeral Home in Elkhart.  The Rev. Frank Sparks pastor of the Christian Memorial Church officiated and burial was in Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.
