Services were Friday at the Eller Funeral Home in Frankfort with burial in the Kilmore Cemetery in Frankfort for Harold L. (Jim) Riley, 36, of Frankfort, a former Veedersburg resident, who died Tuesday (Sept. 1, 1970) after being pinned between two cars of a Norfolk and Western Freight train near Marion. Born June 16, 1934, in Veedersburg, he was the son of Franklin Merle and Vera G. Abernathy Riley. He married Thelma L. Keene April 24, 1955. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Veedersburg and the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. He was employed as a brakeman and conductor for the N and W Railroad. Survivors include his widow; his mother; a son, James Allen and a daughter, Debra Suzanne; five sisters, Mrs. Betty Clodfelder and Mrs. Sylvia Pritchard, both of Kingman, Mrs. Beverly VanSickle of Waynetown and Mrs. Kay Gates and Mrs. Peggy Davis, both of Frankfort; and three brothers, Larry of Crawfordsville and Paul and Ronnie, both of Frankfort. --waw
