Veedersburg – Mrs. Ida Stella Riffle, 79 of Veedersburg died 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ingram Nursing Home, Covington after an extended illness. Born in Veedersburg, she married Oscar Robinson. After his death she married James Riffle who also preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Veedersburg. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Gordon of Dana and Mrs. Nina Redenbaugh of Kingman and one brother, Wilbur Nehemiah of Hammond. - kbz

Services were held Tuesday at the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home for Mrs. Ida Stella Riffle, 79, who died Sunday at the Ingram Nursing Home in Covington where she had been a patient two years. The Rev. William Mayoh officiated and the body was taken to Indianapolis for cremation.  Born March 10, 1881 in Warren County, she was the daughter of Joseph and Susan McCollum Nehemiah. She was married to Oscar Robinson who preceded her in death and was later married to James Riffle who also preceded her in death. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mary Gordon of Dana and Mrs. Nina Redenbaugh; and a brother, Wilbur of Hammond. – kbz
