Crawfordsville, June 12 – The death of Elder Joel Ridge, nearly 93 years old at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis marks the passing of one of the best known men in Montgomery County.  Elder Ridge resided in and near Ladoga for three score years and during that time there was hardly a church in the county whose pulpit had not been occupied at some time by the well-known preacher.  --– kbz
