Kingman—Robert F. Ricks, 76, Route 1, Kingman, died unexpectedly at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1989 in his home.
He was born Oct. 14, 1912 in Judice Basin, Mont. He was married Dec. 29, 1931 in Washington, Ind., to Dorlis Dyer, who survives.
He lived in Washington several years where he graduated from Washington High School in 1930. He lived in Dayton 45 years before moving to Kingman.
He was a truck driver for 35 years, retiring in 1965. Since that time, he has owned the Robert Ricks Excavating Co.
He was a 32nd degree Mason, Scottish Rite.
Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Miles (Sue) Biery, Lafayette; three sons, Paul E. and Robert L., both of Lafayette, and Jerry D., Tulsa, Okla.; 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Memorial service was at 1 p.m. Friday at Soller-Baker Dayton Chapel with the Rev. William Beswick officiating. Burial was in Dayton Cemetery. – thanks to s
