RICKETTS, Margaret Merryman - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Margaret L. Ricketts of Terre Haute, formerly of Covington, age 64, died July 17 in Covington Manor Health Center. She was born in Covington, May 14, 1918, the daughter of Ross and LaVone Wiese Merryman. April 2, 1935, she married Elmer Ricketts, who survives. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Danville and the Royal Neighbors Lodge.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Sophia Talbert of Covington; two sons, Dan of Decker and Paul of Covington; two sisters, Mildred Grubbs of Covington and Virginia Tuggle of California; a brother, James Merryman of Covington; 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga with Rev. Glenn Ray Jr. officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. – thanks to S
