RICKETTS, Emma Florence Miller - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Emma Florence Ricketts, 89, died shortly after noon Friday at her home in Warren County.  Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Benson Chapel near Covington with the Rev. Floyd Crocker, Thorntown officiating.  Burial was in Upper Mound Cemetery, Covington.  Mrs. Ricketts was born Dec 8, 1857 in Fountain County daughter of Americus and Amanda Ridge Miller.  She was married to Benjamin W. Miller (Ricketts?) who preceded her in death.  Surviving are the following 10 children: Mrs. Harve Murphy; Mrs. Nora VanPelt; Harry and Elmer, all of Covington; Claude and Mrs. CG Siddens, near Covington; Albert C. Route 5, Danville; Mrs. Robert Brier, Lafayette; Mrs. Dora Sisk, Williamsport and Mrs. Eva R. Woods, Attica.  There are 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  Thanks to Bren M     ~~~transcribed by kbz
