Elizabeth Richardson was born in Fountain Co., Ind. Oct 9, 1833, departed this life March 19, 1907, aged 73 years, 6 months and 10 days. She was married to S. Richardson and to this union was born 12 children, two having preceded her to the other world. She was converted and joined the United Brethern church in the year of 1899, under the pastorate of Rev. McHargue and died in the faith of the Christ, who died to redeem her. Her sickness was short and severe but she bore it with patience showing much of the spirit of her Master. She is gone but not forgotten and her good example, faith and charity will live one. The good book says, "Blessed are the dead that are in the Lord and from henceforth yea saith the spirit that they may rest from their labor and their words do follow them." The funeral services were conducted by Rev. McHargue of Kingman at the Coal Creek chapel after which the remains were laid to rest in the Coal Creek cemetery. – thanks to Betty D
