Perry Richardson, a farmer in poor circumstances, living six miles south
of Covington, had a wife and five children. Last week all took sick and
on Monday the mother and son died. The coroner sent the wife's stomach
to Indianapolis for expert examination as there was belief that poison
had been administered. Close surveillance is kept over Richardson.
