Manley H. Richardson, age 90, retired carpenter and farmer and a life resident of Fulton Township, died at 4:30 a. m. Monday, Oct. 29, at his farm home on Covington Rt. 1. Mr. Richardson was born Jun 25, 1872, in Fountain County near Snoddy's Mill, the son of Nelson and Elva Prevo Richardson. He was married Aug. 1, 1894 to Nellie Hardesty, who preceded him in death, Jan. 2, 1962. Survivors include three daughters, Misses Grace and Madge Richardson, both at home, and Mrs. Merle Patton of Veedersburg Rt. 3; a son, Lewis of Kingman Rt. 2; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by two sons and one brother. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. today, Oct. 31, at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiated. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Charles Clawson, Vernon Snoddy, Bob Richardson, Raymond Richardson, Dale Richardson and Dale Waldron - ww.

Manley H. Richardson 86 died at 4:30 a.m. Monday Oct 29, 1962 at his farm home on Covington Rt 1. He was a retired carpenter and farmer. He had been a life resident of Fulton and Wabash Townships. Born June 25, 1872 in Fountain County near Snoddy’s Mill, he was the son of Nelson and Elva Prevo Richardson. He was married Aug 1, 1894 to Nellie Hardesty who preceded him in death Jan 1, 1962. Survivors include three daughters, Grace and Madge both at home and Mrs. Merle Patton of Veedersburg Rt 3; a son, Lewis of Kingman Rt 2; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiated. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
