VEEDERSBURG -- Raymond Rich, 57, of Yeddo, suffered a fatal heart attack about 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Hydraulic-Press Brick Co. at Crawfordsville where he was employed the past seven years. He was rushed to Culver Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. He had suffered from a heart ailment the past year. Born near Tangier, Nov. 18, 1900 he was the son of James and Nellie Hicks Rich. In August 1919 he married Ruby Day, who survives. Survivors, including the widow, are his parents; three brothers, Fred of Kokomo, Leo of Covington and Robert of Peoria, Ill.; and one sister, Mrs. Gwendolyn Allen of St. Berniece. The body will be taken from the Fishero Funeral Home here to the Rich residence in Yeddo at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Centennial EUB Church with Rev. Bennett Fulp of Crawfordsville officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before services. Burial will be at the Centennial Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
