RICE, Ferman - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mellott - Ferman H. "Fuzzy" Rice 72 of Rt 3, Veedersburg died at 3 a.m. today in his home. He was a member of the Mellott Christian Church. He was a school bus driver for Richmond Twp and Southeast Fountain schools for several years. He was a semi-retired farmer. Born Sept 26, 1907, near Mellott, he was a son of Clarence and Clara Wade Rice. He was graduated from Hillsboro HS. He married in 1949 LaVera Harris, who survives. Also surviving are 3 brothers, Reed of Wingate; Ralph E. of Scotts Bluff, Neb and James C. Rice of Daltona (Daytona?) Fla. Arrangements incomplete at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, Hillsboro. kbz
