RICE, Chester - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Chester O. Rice of Goshen, age 72, died in a Goshen hospital Saturday, February 27. He was born at North Webster, September 16, 1909, the son of Charley and Inez Rice. In 1941, he married Helen Cook, who died September 20, 1976. He had been a general laborer at Goshen Manufacturing Company.

  Survivors include two daughters, Betty Ann Hargis of Florida and Mertie Mae Myers of Veedersburg; three sons, Chester Jr. of Cayuga, Robert of Danville and Ronnie of Goshen; and 15 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Rieth, Rohrer and Ehret Funeral Home in Goshen with Captain Leo Wood officiating. – thanks to S
